Blame it on Kermit The Frog

Welcome to my site,

 

My name is Jeff Wagner and I’ve been writing about music for more than 20 years.

 

It all started as a fascination with Kermit the Frog’s “Bein’ Green” song at age 5. Fast forward 15 years and I’m a metal-obsessed young adult creating my own ‘zine, Symposium, which was meant as an alternative to all the generic death metal ‘zines of the early ‘90s. It was a great experience, especially the opportunities I got to interview favorite bands such as Type O Negative, Trouble, Entombed, Voivod, Fates Warning and many others.

I’ve been told my greatest strength as a writer is my ability to make people fall in love with music they never thought they'd ever listen to. Maybe I'm some kind of music genie? If I am, I could never live in a tiny lamp, way too small.
